No 47 Fulham High Street is a two storey terraced property that sits at the end of a series of three storey terraced buildings. The site is bounded to the south and east side by Fulham Pre-Prep School.
The property is currently lying unoccupied as the building is structurally unfit for purpose. The school formally used it as a shop and office on ground floor level with basement storage and office space on the first floor. The property lies within ‘Fulham Park Gardens’ Conservation Area.
The proposals will involve the demolition of the existing building and the addition of an extra floor to bring it in line with the adjoining buildings in the terrace. The new building will include:
